Inspired from the real world unit, the 307th FS “Stingers” is loosely based upon the Air Force Fighter Squadron. As with the real world counterpart, the unit used to operate the Lockheed F-16C Fighting Falcon. Current day 307th FS utilizes the F-15E Strike Eagle, this may get explored upon RAZBAM's F-15E Module. Until then, the Squadron will utilize the Viper as they used to. The 307th Fighter Squadron perform a multitude of mission roles including CAP, CAS, SEAD, DEAD, STRIKE, and ESCORT. The organizational structure is that of three flights of four aircraft. The pilots of the 307th FS use the tactical callsign of “REEF”. The Commanding Officer, currently Lt Colonel Cody “APACHE” Zappen, is responsible for the tactical readiness of the group and reports up to the Wing Commanding Officers.
