Influenced by the fantastical Star Wars Imperial Fighter Wing, the 204th Special Operations Wing is the overseeing body of the simulated USAF Squadrons and US Army Squadron within JTF501. 

The Wing Commanding Officer, Colonel Ryan “Tex” Gann is tasked with ensuring he rudders the group in the same direction. 

The WCO, while not specifically assigned to a specific aircraft type, must be able to operate any and all airframe types within the Fighter Wing and can supplement empty pilot slots within missions when needed.
